My work explores what type of person I am. Through these photographs I am able to show what my place is and what it truly means to me. The beach is a great way of showing my place, as it is where I escape from reality.  My images show what I enjoy about the beach and how it relaxes me. The beach has always been my way to relax by watching people doing what makes them happy. There are so many reasons why I love this place; I enjoy listening to the sound of the crashing waves and the sound of the seagull along the shoreline. Listening to the sounds of the beach soothes me and makes time stand still. Also the warmth of the sun on my back and the view of the ocean and seeing the different colours in the sky and watching the sun go down in the afternoon, this makes me feel safe and at home. When I walk along the beach I enjoy the feeling of the sand between my toes and the water washing against my feet I love this place because the only thing you can hear is the sound of nature and no one else, as well as the fact that everyday you come across something that will make you smile, like dogs playing in the sand or people surfing and swimming and having a good time. I love sitting and taking in the beauty of the beach and everything that it contains this is why I find the beach a good way to tell who I am and that this is my place to escape.
